Following on from the success of our sell out party with VEBA X Lil’ Fee & MC Kwasi. THE PLAYHOUSE PROJECT returns to The Refuge to celebrate Mothers day with Disco Mums (MIF, Red Laser Disco, Back to Basics, Electric Elephant, Festival No.6, Huey 54).
Plus MC KWASI, Mr Scruff’s mic man of choice (AIM, Rae & Christian, Friends and Family, So Flute, Dub Smugglers & Mungo’s HiFi).
Expect to hear anything from Soul, House, Techno, Disco, Boogie, Reggae, Italo, Pop…..no barriers, no restrictions, just proper good times. Plus a few surprises when Manchester legend MC KWASI gets on the mic, bringing good vibes the dance-floor.
Disco Mums are an all-female Manchester-based DJ collective of seasoned clubbers (now proud parents) who are still out, still, on it &…still playing records.
So get on your best dancing shoes, your kiddies best dancing shoes and get down to The Refuge for Mother’s Day!
