Full disclosure here, I’m writing this whilst listening to Follow You Follow Me by Genesis so if that doesn’t give you an idea of how out of my depth I am then I don’t know what will...
Anyway, I’ve delved into the internet so you don’t have to, turns out, they’re all absolutely mega DJs.
First up on the line up is Enei, coming all the way from his home town St Petersburg, Russia. His career has escalated globally since 2007 since being described as the most excited new producers in electronic music today.
Halogenix couldn’ be further from his musical roots. Born to a Father who played the French horn in London Symphony Orchestra, music was a natural path for this North Londoner, except he made it a hell of a lot faster.
Halogenix found drum and bass and the scene has thanked him, nominating Halogenix for many awards along the way.
I’ve heard of Hit & Run before and as I am so incredibly out of the loop on this genre and this type of night out I can only guess that means it’s a pretty damn big night out.
The next Hit & Run, brought to none other than little old Mint Lounge on Oldham Street, by the Good Ship CRITICAL SOUND.
The last two Critical sessions sold out incredibly quick I’m led to believe so now in the smaller setting of Mint Lounge, tickets are likely to be flying off the shelves.
