The space is light, small and airy with a minimalistic, chic and calming interior. It is definitely the kind of place you could happily sit all day, enjoying coffee and watching the world go by in their window seats.
The new coffee shop is located on the bustling Deansgate perfectly situated to grab a coffee on the way to work or nip out to the tranquil spot to enjoy your mid-morning brew. It’s a small space but well designed with both workers and customers in mind.
Over Under pride themselves on excellent coffee, made with a smile and made efficiently, aiming to make a new standard for commuters in Manchester.
The menu promises beautiful classic brunches like avocado on toast (£7), American style pancakes (£7), granola bowls (£8.50) and perfect morning pastries.
The team told us about what they have coined ‘The Switch’ which will take place mid-evening and see the coffee spot become a stand-alone late night cocktail bar. Expect a full transformation, the walls have been designed to flip, the coffee machine will be hidden behind a curtain and decorations changed. This is much more than just dimming the lights and turning the music up!
We’ve not seen the menu yet but I have a hunch it may have an amazing espresso martini on it.
