If fish isn’t your thing there’s still plenty of other options on the lunch deal, including Caprese salad, soup of the day, Ceasar Salad to start and Mushroom Risotto, White Vegetable Pizza and British Minute Steak served with fries and peppercorn sauce.

The lunch menu is available 12-3pm.

Spend

Don Giovanni’s extensive wine list has wines from almost all the regions of Italy on offer by the glass, small or large, carafe or bottle. They even have a large selection of fine wines available. Now you might be thinking ‘fine wine? That should be in splurge’. Well, think again. Don Giovanni’s use that little magical tool known as Coravin. The technology allows fine wines to be enjoyed by the glass, saving you the money of a full bottle

Currently, Don Giovanni’s menu includes bottles of one of the finest wines out there, Matarocchio 2011, for £300 but with the Coravin you can grab a glass for £54. Only 120 bottles of this wine made it to the UK and it might just be one of the best-kept secrets by the Italian wine company owned by the Antinori family.

Splurge

Sometimes, it’s just time to go all out, you get the full bottle of red and the large portion of lobster with all the trimmings. Don Giovanni’s is just the place for this. If you’re looking to splash the cash and pull out all the stops, look no further than this…. Don Giovanni’s Chateaubriand (£55).

Weighing 510 grams, the board is filled with a speciality cut of two fillets, carved right at your table. The meats are served with parmesan baby roast potatoes and a fresh cherry tomato and parmesan salad. Steaks are cooked in a Josper Oven at 400°C.
