Christmas is all about indulging, and this year is no different. As soon as it starts getting cooler and the nights shorter, we start getting an ever-growing craving for meat, carbs and gravy.
Luckily for us, Dog Bowl has launched a rather impressive festive sharing board with all your favourite Christmas hits. Designed for any number of people from 2-12 and £20 per person, these bad boys are about as festive as it gets.
So what is on this delicious monstrosity? How about 14-hour braised brisket, rosemary salted chicken wings, pigs in blankets, BBQ baby back ribs AND roast turkey with cranberry sauce, naturally.
It doesn’t stop there either. With this epic pile of meat comes honey glazed vegetables, roast potatoes with herbs and garlic, buttered Brussel sprouts (come on, it’s Christmas, you just have to try one) and a jug of gravy for smothering it all in.
Of course, if you are veggie or not inclined to the consumption of what feels like four tonnes of meat, you can go for the veggie option which consists of a veggie kebab, stuffing balls and a couple of veggie burgers with all the usual trimmings.
For afters, you get a trio of mini desserts to fight over. Choose from the chocolate torte served with Crème Fraiche, carrot cake with salted caramel ice cream and Christmas pudding with brandy sauce.
All in all, this is a Christmas menu with all the classics, and what’s more, the fact that is designed to be shared amongst friends is exactly what Christmas is about if you ask me.
