The new owners of Stretford Mall, Bruntwood Works and Trafford Council, are hosting their first ‘small business meetup’ encouraging budding retail and hospitality businesses to get together to share experiences and advice.

Taking place at Head Bar on Wednesday 11th March at 6.30pm, the event will allow guests to hear from a panel of independent businesses and retail property experts on a variety of topics affecting small and budding businesses.

Panelists include Jenny Maxwell from Nordic Muse at Hatch; James Gibson owner of Head Bar at Stretford Mall; Ged King the founder of Skull Fades Foundation whose social enterprise-style Barbers Shop is situated at the Mall; Mark Bamford development officer from Trafford Council; and James Tootle, Retail Manager at Bruntwood Works.

The panel will be sharing their very different experiences, perspective and advice on starting up a new small business.  The conversation will allow for guests to hear directly from those who have already taken the leap, as well as getting practical advice and information about the opportunities available in the local area.

The meet up is all about establishing a new independent business community for Stretford’s exciting new chapter, where everyone is welcome. From those with the seed of an idea to small businesses that are already flourishing, if you’re interested in being part of the future of Stretford.
