The South African wine producer will be in Manchester for this super-special event in Ancoats.
Not to be mistaken with the South African rugby union player, Johan Meyer is in fact a small boutique wine producer, producing hand-crafted natural wines from small plots off vineyards in the south coast region of South Africa.
Inspired by his travels to New Zealand, Burgundy and California, Johan established JH Meyer Signature Wines in 2011 and quickly gained notoriety for the quality of his produce and drive for unique flavours and characteristics.
This Wednesday 4th September, Johan will be heading over to the wonderful Erst in Ancoats for an event that is perfect for any wine aficionados out there. Taste 8 of his wines throughout the evening, alongside some snacks for just £20 per person.
I’m sure he’s got a wealth of wine knowledge floating around in his head too so if you want to ask him any questions about the stuff – he’ll be the Yoda to your Luke Skywalker.
