The new social and cultural destination in Ducie Street Warehouse has got just about everything from aparthotels to BLOK fitness suites.

Manchester’s NEWEST cinema space is offering guests a high-spec cinematic experience in ULTRA comfort. Gone are the days of popcorn filled leather chairs you stick to and daren’t think about who was sat there before you – Mini Cini has got 38 reclining seats, 4k digital projection and surround sound.

The cinema opens on Thursday 26th September with an eclectic programme of new releases and special previews.

There’s a World Premiere of the music documentary Hitsville: The Making of Motown charting the creation and success of the iconic label celebrating its 60th anniversary. Complete with exclusive footage.

For Halloween Week there’s a heady mix of horror and hilarity. The cult scares include one of the first horror films produced, The Wolf Man and the original monster movie Creature from the Black Lagoon.

Guests can also expect quarterly themed programmes and events, including new commissions from across film, performance and visual arts and crafts.

The first theme for the opening of the cultural programme is MATERIALISE. The programme is full of titles that engage with the theme considering materials and issues of sustainability, substance and integrity.

The cinema is in collaboration with HOME’s Creative Director, Jason Wood helping with the programming.
