Its December, which means everyone wants to watch Christmas films. But what if you can’t stand Christmas?
What if the subtle jingle of bells and Mariah Carey’s whiney voice sends shivers down your spine? Do not fear my dear Scrooges, there is a way to still enjoy Manchester’s many quirky events whilst escaping the Christmas festivities.
This month, HOME cinema will be taking us back to the 1980’s for a 2-week long movie binge of the decades’ best blockbusters.
This retro extravaganza will kick off on the 14th November with Robert Zemeckis’ iconic picture, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and will follow with plenty of comedy, action and adventure until Saturday the 22nd December.
The line-up goes like this:
Friday 14th December: Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Saturday 15th December: Heathers
Monday 17th December: This is Spinal Tap
Wednesday 19th December: Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure
Thursday 20th December: An American Werewolf in London
Saturday 22nd December: Raiders of the Lost Ark
