Virtual-Hideout, Manchester’s only virtual reality and gaming centre, will be hosting four films in support of the Manchester Film Festival in March.
The first film being shown as a VR experience will be ‘My Africa’– a film which transports viewers to the untamed rangelands of northern Kenya and is narrated by Lupita Nyong’o.
‘Age of Sail’ is set on the open ocean in 1900 and is the story of William Avery (Ian McShane), an old sailor adrift and alone in the North Atlantic.
Chris O’Dowd stars in ‘Evolution of Testicles which intends to raise awareness of testicular cancer through laughter and inspiration in this film.
‘V-ARIA’ is the final film what will be shown in Virtual Reality during the Film Festival. In this film, in you can see how it feels to get standing ovations and roaring applause by 2500 opera visitors on the grand opera stage.
All these four films at Virtual Hideout are set to provide unique cinematic experiences which are dead set to feel like you are living in the future.
