With long days, long nights and long weekends now upon us, Islington Mill truly comes into its own. This is what they have coming up:Friday 11th May: EVENT/GIG: Mother’s Ruin // 8pm // £8 adv
Mother returns to the Mill, following on from last year’s record breaking Royal Wedding day and this time she will be live. Featuring performances from Lady Miss Kier of Deelite, Cocknbullkid, Joyce D Vision and Jonny Woo.

Saturday 12th May: WORKSHOP: Make Your Own T-Shirt With One69a // 1pm to 4am // £15 for 1 // £25 for 2

Sub Pop’s celestial hip-hoppers Shabazz Palaces open the Future Everything festival here at the Mill with a sonic blend of dusty synth, jazz-afro-beat sounds and hip-hop vibes ‘If Bedouins herded beats instead of goats’

Minimal dub techno king-pins combine to provide the soundtrack for the Future Everything Opening Party. Await kaleidoscopic house and techno, snap-clap digital dancehall, a plenty from this evening.

Tri Angle Records has become THE pre-eminent imprint for zeitgeist-setting sonics. This showcase features the labels UK contingent including the debut Manchester solo show for Holy Other and rising star Evian Christ.
