Feelgood’s award-winning outdoor shows are back! After a gap of eight years this celebrated company is stronger than ever and present Shakespeare’s best loved romantic comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream and tickets are now on sale.

Heaton Park and Hall become the stage for this beautiful tale of magic and intrigue, love and laughter as audiences delve deep into the beautiful dells and woods to encounter feuding fairies; hapless labourers and lustful lovers all drawn together by the meddling antics of chief mischief maker Puck! It’s a summer treat for all the family.

In true Feelgood style, this open-air promenade production will surprise and delight. By deftly blendingthe past and the present, the celebrated Egerton family who lived in the Hall from 1772 – 1902 will make a spirited “appearance” in a few of the leading roles!
Audiences will be charmed by glorious music from Handel to Monteverdi and Gilbert & Sullivan to Oasis as the cast sing, dance and act their way around the park before heading inside the spectacular Hall for the grand finale of three weddings and a rustic play!

Feelgood are proud to be the Theatre Partner for Heaton Park with Manchester City Council after their 11 years of nationally acclaimed and award-winning park shows (1998 – 2009). Bring a picnic before hand and enjoy great award-winning theatre in one of Europe’s finest municipal parks.
Manchester City Council’s Executive Member for Culture and Leisure, Councillor Luthfur Rahman, said: “Bringing together the magnificent Heaton Hall with the work of Shakespeare, this event promises to create an unforgettable summer day out for all the family.”
