What: From the outside, the Lass is a genuine Manchester icon clad in genuine Threlfall tiling, making the  pub one of the most sought after filming locations in the City. Once inside, the interior is resplendent in Victorian charm, punctuated with original art sourced from local artists. Although spacious, there is  a plethora of intimate nooks and crannies, not least of which is the eccentric, charming snug.

An extensive ale offer remains the jewel in the crown,  showcasing up to 9 varieties at any one time – including  rarities sourced independently from the North West and Wales. The excellence with real ale was recognised by Stockport and South Manchester CAMRA who  made us Pub of the Month for October 2006. This is ably supported by a well chosen wine list and over 30 whiskies. Traditional food, all of which is prepared from fresh, locally sourced ingredients by the experienced kitchen team, is served every day. House specialities include one of the best home-baked pies in the City,  together with fine stews, roasts and hotpots.
