Wednesday – Higher Ground
Join resident DJ Stu Richards and cohort Joshua Goddard as they blast out only the greatest motown, ska, rock n roll, soul, mod and 60′s pop from 11pm every Wednesday. Get down!
Higher Ground runs from 11pm – 4am – Free entry
Thursday – Shakedown
Thursday night at Black Dog NQ sees Underdog resident DJ Da Funk take over the decks with his blend of hip-hop, funk and dubstep sounds.
Shakedown runs weekly from 11pm – 4am and entry is free.
Friday – WhoSaidWhat?
Resident DJ Stuart Richards hosts WhoSaidWhat? every Friday at Black Dog NQ between 10pm and 4am. WhoSaidWhat? offers a night packed full of disco, funk and house with a few breaks along the way and even some hip hop and reggae to mix the night up a little.
WhoSaidWhat? runs weekly until 4am and entry is free before 11pm.
Saturday –DJ Da Funk
Every Saturday Black Dog Ballroom is overtaken by an eclectic mix of genres, smoothly flowing between dubstep, hip hop and house until 4am.
The event runs weekly until 4am and entry is free before 11pm.

May 2nd Underdog and FRANK present Jax Jones
Underdog presents Jax Jones, UK number 1 artist with Duke Dumont on their summer hit ‘I Got U’. Catch Jax Jones on the Manchester leg of his debut UK tour spinning the best deep house around. Supported by Unity Radio hosts Subz and belting Manchester brand ‘Mvson’ residents OJ & My, this is a night not to be missed.

May 4th The Murkage Club
The Murkage Club comes to Underdog for a one off Sabbath Sunday bank holiday special. Full Murkage Cartel squad, no prisoners, two cups stuffed.

May 9th Overproof
Full strength Overproof sound spanning dancehall, bashment and Afro-beat! We got whistles, horns, inflatables, rum punch and a baga’ riddims to make you move your feet.

May 16th FRANK presents Patrick Topping (Hot Creations)
The Hot Creations’ man of the hour returns to FRANK just before his biggest Summer yet.

23rd May Rediscover: The Relflex
Frenchman and re-edit master The Reflex helps launch ‘Rediscover’. A sparkly new night focused on disco, soul and funk for a new generation. With dozens and dozens of his own ‘revisions’ under his belt, The Reflex has revamped some of the biggest and best tracks and introduced his own unique twist on seemingly un-improvable classics, making them current and unbelievably dancefloor friendly. Now taking his Revisions series on the road, expect unreleased edits and choice cuts ranging from soul, disco-funk, house and timeless pop all rolled into one The Reflex hits the Manchester leg of his tour on Friday 23rd May.

May 30th High Five for Manchester in aid of Grace’s Place
High Five returns with a line up of DJs from Manchester’s top nights playing back to back sets. The full line up includes Krysko & Greg Lord, Frenchy & Adam Ross, Quixano & Burton Joyce. There will also be a massive prize given away to one lucky attendee. All proceeds go to Grace’s Place children’s hospice.

Resident Black Dog Ballroom DJ Da Funk takes over the decks in the NWS bar every Friday night with his blend of hip-hop, funk and dubstep sounds. It’s a challenge to keep those feet still!
Paid In Full runs from 11pm – 4am and entry is free.
Saturday – High Jinx with Stuart Richards
Black Dog NQ resident Stuart Richards brings his hugely popular night to Underdog on Saturdays with WhoSaidWhat? Underdog resident Stuart Richard delivers the best tunes weekly spanning Old Skool Hip-Hop, House, Bashment and Bass.
High Jinx runs weekly from 11pm-4am and entry is free before midnight, £4 after.
Karaoke
The bespoke karaoke booth at Black Dog Ballroom NWS holds up to twelve people and is available for all those who want to sing their heart out for an hour or two, or for guests booking the private members ballroom.

Follow all the twists and turns this football season on the roof terrace at Black Dog Ballroom NWS. All big games in the England World Cup Qualifiers, Premier League and Champions League football matches shown on Sky Sports and ESPN will be on our new big screen projector on the covered roof terrace.
