Manchester’s cocktail and drinks wizards, educators and innovators The Liquorists have joined forces with Diageo Reserve Brands, producers of some of the world’s finest spirits, to open a unique bar on King Street, in Manchester city centre.
Opening from Thursday 10th October for three months in the former All Saints store at 52 King Street, Reserve by The Liquorists is the first bar to be located on lower King Street and is also thought to be the first venue of its kind, offering a unique mix of retail (ground floor), a world class cocktail bar and a creative drinking experience and events space (all 1st floor) all under one roof.
As well as operating as a bar offering innovative bespoke and classic signature cocktails and *locally brewed craft beers, Tuesday through ‘til Saturday, a multitude of events, themed nights including live music, interactive drinks master classes and special food and drink tastings are planned for upstairs in the main bar area.
Meanwhile the ground floor of Reserve by The Liquorists will be a retail space where shoppers can taste and buy high end spirits including Tanqueray Gin, Ciroc Vodka, Don Julio Tequila, Johnnie Walker Whisky and Zacapa Rum. To complete the experience, anyone who buys a bottle will be able to pop upstairs to the bar to taste and learn how to make a world class cocktail or signature serve at home by The Liquorists own master cocktail makers. They’ll also receive a recipe card with step by step instructions to help them recreate the magic like a pro.
