That’s right, the Sprout Bhaji’s are back. These little balls of deep-fried sprouts with onion, broccoli, fennel and chilli, and served up with desi-style cranberry chutney are all the rage nowadays.

New for 2019 and now on the main menu is the ‘Sprout Bhaji Butty’ (£5.50) which also sees a £1 donation per butty for Manchester’s Mustard Tree who support people across Greater Manchester in poverty and facing homelessness.

The ‘Sprout Bhaji Butty’ features a Sprout Bhaji Patty with red onion, kachumber sambharo, cranberry chutney and green chutney – served in a soft brioche bun. You don’t want to miss this one.

The full vegan menu also includes a Festive Curry, which comes with onion and jeera rice (Winter roots and french beans in a tomato and coconut sauce spiced with cinnamon, star anise, and curry leaf). So everyone who “hAtEs SprOUTs” can enjoy their Christmas at Bundobust too!

To drink, enjoy a ‘Naughty’ spiced hot toddy (Chivas Regal & Johnny Walker Black scotch, ginger liqueur, lemon and spiced syrup) served warm. Or the ‘Nice’ alcohol-free sour (spiced apple and cinnamon shaken with aquafaba).

Bundobust are also stocking a rotating range of Christmas Beers this December (both on keg & in the fridges!) Including Mikkeller, Anchor and Northern Monk.

The Mustard Tree is an incredible charity which creates opportunities for those in need to help themselves through providing practical support, friendship, connections into work, improvements to health and wellbeing plus new experiences to encourage aspiration.
