If you haven’t had the pleasure of tucking into anything from Hip-Hop Chip Shop, then you can diagnose yourself with a serious case of FOMO.

The basis is a gourmet re-vamp of all your chippy favourites like battered fish (or halloumi for veggies), mushy peas, classic curry sauce as well as beer battered gherkins, chilli batter onion rings and some of the best gravy this side of your mums.

We have seen them pop up in their van at Media City, and guest over at Kosmonaught and private parties and events across the city, but I think we can all agree that it is time they found a forever home.

Well good news all round. They have a site over at Sawmill Court over in Ancoats and they have opened a Go Fund Me Page to help them reach their goal.

They aim to raise £50,000 before summer this year, so if you want to give them a helping hand head over to their Go Fund Me Page and make a donation- nothing is too big or small and every little helps!
