Dakota Unveils the Simple, Sophisticated and Seasonally-led Manchester Grill

Situated in the brand-new luxury boutique hotel, Dakota Manchester has unveiled the menu of its new 120-seat restaurant, The Dakota Grill.

The restaurant will be brasserie-style with impeccable service and a classic menu containing beautiful and signature dishes. The Grill will have speciality signature prime cut steak and beautiful seafood dishes freshly prepared every day.

The starters selection will include crispy duck salad with watermelon, beansprouts, roasted cashews and sesame. A fritto misto with garlic and saffron aioli; king scallops with oriental ribs and pork crackling and finally a chicken liver parfait with fig jam and brioche.

The main course selection will include lemon sole with brown shrimp, monkfish with fragrant rice and mango chutney; pork belly with soft-shell crab; and finally a lamb loin with gnocchi.

Dakota Grill will also have prime cuts of grass-fed, 35-day aged, UK-bred beef, lightly seasoned and chargrilled.

For dessert, the menu will showcase indulgent treats from mango cheesecake; peanut butter parfait and caramel panna cotta. 

And that’s not all!

There will also be a dedicated cheese trolley with a selection of 10 cheeses supplied from the Cheese Larder. There will be regional cheeses from Lancashire and Cumbria from a variety of milk including cow, ewe, goat and buffalo.

There will also be plenty of vegetarian, vegan and breakfast menus available.

Sunday’s will see Dakota’s Sunday Roast take over, with options including roast beef, half roast chicken or nut roast with all the trimmings!

Alongside The Grill is the Dakota Bar, a decadent space for a coffee meeting and light bites in the day and a beautifully curated cocktail bar in the evening.

Dakota is also home to an exclusive Champagne Room for an intimate taste of an enviable range of Champagnes and the stunning Cigar Garden on the outdoor terrace with a selection of Cuban cigars.
