All Day Breakfast in Manchester

The most important meal of the day, right? Arguably the most delicious from a personal stance, so why are we confined to eating breakfast only in the morning?

That doesn’t have to be the case when there are tonnes of places that will serve breakfast or brunch all day long. So you can forget your soggy cornflakes and get down to one of these delightful places.

The Bay Horse Tavern
Serving up their breakfast menu right until 4pm, The Bay Horse Tavern in the NQ is perfect for that mid-afternoon fry up that you know you should’nt have but you’re an adult now so you can do what you want. Team up their Full English (which comes with bottomless builder’s tea or filter coffee) with one of their brilliant cups of Irish Coffee and you’ll be in brekkie heaven.

Alabama’s All American Eatery
You can enjoy breakfast / brunch through to 3pm on weekdays and 5pm at the weekend, with the usual brunch suspects, but a few twists like Benny’s Crab Cakes with poached eggs on an English muffin. Alabama’s is famed for its incredible stack of pancakes, waffles and French toast so if you’re looking for a taste of the old US of A – this is your place.

Federal
Brunch and breakfast served all day, with a great coffee and even better brunch cocktails to go with it. Turkish eggs (poached eggs, garlic yoghurt, hot chilli butter) and halloumi and shrooms are particularly delightful, especially at 5pm. Just don’t forget to fire up your Instagram before tucking in.

Gorilla
Disco brunch is so much fun and is made even better that you can have all your favourite breakfast bits all Saturday and Sunday long. And when Gorilla isn’t hosting their disco brunch, you can still enjoy Steak and Eggs in the afternoon (one of the best I’ve tried).

Beastro
Get both of these all day long in this lovely little café in Spinningfields. You can get a delicious bacon sandwich or bagel if you fancy one mid-afternoon, because most of us do. Either that or you’ve just woken up, discovered that it’s 3pm and you want something meaty, salty and full of carbs to get you through the rest of your day.

Teacup Kitchen
Fancy sausages, bacon, sauté potatoes with poached eggs and sourdough until 6pm? Good, me too. Or how about eggs done the teacup way? Well they are also served right into the evening to fulfil all of your breakfast needs.

Black Milk
Cereal served all day and late into the night. Lion Bar cereal with salted caramel sauce or krave, coco rocks and cookie crisp mixed together, covered with chocolate and oreos? Sound too good to be true? Well it is true, so if you fancy your cereal late evening, go wild at Black Milk.

Moose Coffee
For a cafe/restaurant/diner that pretty much specialises in breakfast, it’s only fair that they stay open until 5pm – banging out bacon, eggs, waffles and pancakes until everyone has unfastened their trousers and is forced to waddle out of the door. If their Mighty Moose dish of potato hash piled with eggs and bacon doesn’t give you the sweats – nothing will.
