The Best Brunch in Manchester?
Cottonopolis currently serves brunch from 10am – 12pm on Sundays, including the option to go bottomless on any dish for £15. This will soon be changing to go ALL DAY. The menu boasts just about everything from Bloody Mary Shots, Sweet Banana Toast (£9), Soy Roasted King Oyster Toast (£9), Crispy Duck Waffles (£10) and even Wagyu Sirloin Steak (£17).
Beat Boutique
Each week, from 2pm Beat Boutique, known for their Northern Soul/ Disco nights at the likes of Soup Kitchen, are back from their hiatus with a new residency at Cottonopolis. They play a vinyl only set to soundtrack your Sunday afternoon with 100% pure boogie music. Expect loads and loads of soul music, plenty of dancing and special events and plenty of special DJ guests.
IKIGAI
In Japanese, Ikigai means ‘that which makes life worth living’. Well, every Sunday Cottonopolis are attempting to follow this way of life, and take you lovely lot with them. They are teaming up with Manchester creatives to put on a series of workshops, from ring making to wreath making. There’s something different each weekend and tickets are already very limited so make sure you sign up quick!
Sunday Roasts
A little birdie told me that the Sunday Roasts are going to be no more to make way for even more bottomless brunch baby. So you’ve not got long left if you want to get down and try one of these fantastic roasts. There’s a choice of wagyu rump, kurobuta pork chop complete with crackling, karaage fried chicken breast and shiitake, pumpkin and sesame puff served with salt and pepper roast potatoes.
