New York inspired booze and food emporium Black Dog Ballroom have launched a new food menu in both their Northern Quarter and New Wakefield Street sites.
Now that I’ve moved into a new gaff in Levenhulme my housemates only ever eat the same thing. Every night it’s Linda McCartney sausages with either boiled veg or roasted veg – absolutely coated in mayo. Without fail. And I struggle to understand it.
Nobody wants to eat the same thing over and over again, so next time you’re in Black Dog, you’ll have a wider choice of new burgers, sandwiches and bagels as well as loads of new sides, massive mounds of nachos and 14 inch loaded pizzas.
Personal highlights include Pigs In Pretzel, a hot dog sausage rolled in pretzel dough, brushed with butter and salt and served with sticky BBQ dipping sauce. As well as The Philly – a stuffed and rolled pizza base with ricotta cheese, beef steak, fried onions, peppers, mozzarella served with American cheese for dipping.
