Back by popular demand, the payday bonus that everyone has been waiting for: Pasta Paul’s Post-Office Payday Ping Pong Party, is back in Kosmonaut on Friday 28th August from 6pm.

After something of a hiatus, NQ party starter and professional record selector, Pasta Paul is bringing back the monthly mouthful of party fun that is #PPPPPPP. That means five of Manchester’s best DJs in six hours, playing nothing but the finest vinyl to some of the most enthusiastic ping-pong-ers in the business.

Whilst keeping Kosmonaut’s wheels of steel warm as a Friday night resident, the lovingly labelled ‘Pasta Man’ has been keeping busy and game-ready with high profile sets at London’s Merchant Tavern and at the opening party of Manchester’s HOME.

Now that the time is right and the peaceful pasta party protestors have managed to force the hand of the man himself, the monthly event has proudly taken its place back in the popular Northern Quarter hangout’s dancing programme. There will be some surprises, treats and competitions to spice things up a little…..as well as a brand new ping pong table.

As always, Pasta Paul will be enlisting his friends in high places to bring the beats back to the basement; previous visitors to the ones and twos include Krysko, Mark Webster, Neil Diablo, Oldboy, Kickin Pigeon, Oi Polloi, Dance Lady Dance, Randy Marsh and John Thorpe.

Payday comes once a month and so does this party. You know it makes sense.
