NYC pizzeria tour guide Scott Wiener, was first featured at PLY, Manchester’s award winning bar and creative space, in 2014 as part of its #PLYin90seconds pre-launch exhibition.

He now returns to show you around 80 boxes from the the 1000 collection that has earned him a Guinness World Record. Boxes from over all over the world make up Scott’s colourful collection; which features landscapes, portraits, fake TV characters scenes amongst many other graphic designs. Each box tells its very own story.

Steph Mantis says: “People have never seen this many pizza boxes in one place and the variety is quite remarkable”.

Steph is Scott’s perfect pizza partner; she herself is the creator of the Forever Pizza project, for which she preserved real slices of pizza in resin. They found out about each other’s work on the Internet and a chance meeting at the opening of NYC pizzeria, Pizza Brain, meant that online casino the rest is history.

When choosing which boxes to exhibit at the shows, Scott and Steph look at interesting ways to convey the international make up of the collection; some will show how that particular artist connects to something on trend within pop culture via traditional pizza box imagery while some traditional Italian boxes depict Naples, pizzas birthplace. One Naples based pizza box artist, Ciancio, paints or draws every package by hand and has created over 250 one-off pieces.
