It seems that everyone now is hosting themed quizzes – it just seems like the traditional general knowledge quiz is slowly dying out. To add a couple of nails in that coffin are Gorilla who have organised a rather exciting Twin Peaks Quiz for the 18th May.
First aired in 1990, Twin Peaks became a ratings and cultural phenomenon – with people everywhere wondering what the fuck happened to Laura Palmer, why anyone would choose to live in that town and just who said yes to the backward talking midget.
Not only will you be part of what expects to be a very difficult quiz but Gorilla will also be screening the legendary pilot episode of the series – which in a world before Netflix and chill turned the whole idea of TV and what it can offer on its head.
In a final nod to the series they will also be serving fresh coffee and cherry pie – straight from the R&R Diner – although I have a slight feeling that in reality it will come from the Gorilla kitchens.
So if you are confident with your Twin Peaks knowledge and know all 3 seasons like the back of your hand, cruise on round to Gorilla on Thursday 18th May, the doors open at 7pm and the quiz starts at 7.30pm. They promise amazing prizes and for the entry price of £8 per person – there bloody better be!
