Manchester gets Electric Elephant Festival Launch Party, Legends, 21st of April.

Returning for a fourth bash in 2011, Electric Elephant, the hit boutique festival on Croatia’s Adriatic coast, moves from its late summer slot to mid-July (14th – 18th), where it’s been expanded to a five-day, five-night event that blurs the boundaries between festival and holiday. With the addition of Sheffield dance sensation Toddla T, 20:20 Vision’s Ralph Lawson, Mosca and Zed Bias to the bulging DJ roster, plus live performances from hotly-tipped South London producer Sampha, who recently released the stunning Valentine on Young Turks, the line-up is now complete.

To warm up for the main event, Electric Chair are staging two launch parties for revellers in the north and south.

In Manchester, Electric Elephant Easter Riot hits Legends nightclub on 21st April. Performers include Toddla T & MC DRS, Danny Krivit, The Unabombers and many more. Tickets are priced at £15/£17.50, full details at www.electricelephant.co.uk

In London, Electric Chair Presents… Electric Elephant London Launch takes place at The Star Of Kings, Kings Cross, on Thursday 28 April, with Severino, The Unabombers, Luke Solomon, Dom Servini, Balearic Mike, Bad Passion and Smooth Sailing Crew playing party tunes over two floor. Advance tickets are £7.50, full details at www.electricelephant.co.uk

The organisers will also be hosting a room at Glasgow’s Electric Frog Easter Weekender, which takes place indoors and outdoors at the SWG3 Centre on 23 and 24 April. Full details at www.theelectricfrog.co.uk

Electric Elephant is held in a magical wooded peninsula nestled in the ancient coastal village of Petrcane, Croatia, in easy reach of Zadar airport. Situated on the sun-sparkled sea of the Adriatic, Petrcane boasts family-run restaurants, villas by the beach and independently owned small hotels and campsites.

This year’s festival is longer, better and earlier! Much more than just a festival, it’s a holiday adventure, an escape, a musical getaway, a meeting of like-minded souls that invokes the original spirit of the unspoilt Ibiza of the ‘70s and early ‘80s. Live love dance.

Tickets are available now, priced at £85.00 for the full, five-night shebang, info at www.electricelephant.co.uk

Electric Elephant & Garden Festival – Double Whammy – Ticket £140
Electric Elephant and their good friends The Garden Festival have teamed up to offer a limited double whammy ticket for both full events with a hefty saving.
