It is safe to say that when the post-Christmas blues hit the world is a pretty rubbish place to be- and the worst part is that everyone expects things to be hunky-dory come February.
The days are still short, the nights are still long, and the promise of spring is like the proverbial carrot dancing just in front of your snout and you are losing faith that it is going to come at all. Let’s just admit it, February is just as rubbish as January- but at least there are three days shaved off.
While we hang in there and hope for some warmer weather I have something to brighten your spirits- The Lowry Hotel’s fantastic three-course tasting menu for £15.95 is still available all the way up until the end of the month. Hip Hip Hooray!
You must book in advance for lunch and dinner until the end of February as we expect it to be busy with people taking up this offer so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
