Piccolino the Italian restaurant located on London Road, Alderley Edge, Cheshire serves lunch and dinner, but provides far more drama than a basic bowl of pasta. The restaurant boasts a 20 metre open kitchen, wine boutique, island cocktail bar, private event space, an all year outside terrace with fully retractable roof. Granted we dined during the festive period but the bar was buzzing with the elite crowd of Cheshire… this was not only a restaurant but the place to be seen in Alderley Edge.

Seated “on looking” the open kitchen filled with authentic Italian chefs putting on quite a show whilst hand making fresh Italian bread. In the centre of the kitchen proudly sits three handmade Italian wood burning ovens, cooking pizzas and garlic breads to perfection.

The menu tells a story – Lemon Sole line caught in Cornwall, South West England or Barbary duck from Pays de la Loire on the West Coast of France, confirm that every dish is considered and selected by experts.

There is an extensive wine list, perfectly accompanying a bowl of pasta or select from fish or meat, fresh and cooked to perfection.

I think you get my gist. The atmosphere, the food, the service is world class… it’s not just another Italian chain restaurant it’s a little taste of authentic perfection.
