What’s more, in honour of their launch, they are offering 50% off food Monday-Wednesday next week!

The brand-new concept will house a grab and go health deli, a 120-cover restaurant a huge 30ft bar, a wellness studio and event space as well as housing a stunning private dining area.

Open seven days a week, FoodWell is a destination venue that will naturally transform from day time relaxed lunch, co-working space and yoga haven to a vibrant bar and restaurant in the evening.

Speaking of the restaurant, FoodWell has this week announced that they have appointed Matthew Nutter formerly of Allotment in Stockport as their head chef. Nutter will be heading up their plant-based, health-focused menu throughout the venue and we’ve heard that he has taken their vegan menu on an insane trajectory.

Things are top secret, but we have managed to have a little sneak peek at the menu, and it turns out we have plenty to get excited about on the food front.

For breakfast, you can expect some delicious dishes which are bound to fill you up and have you bursting with energy. Take, for example,  the Mango & Coconut Chia Pudding, the Purple Power Smoothie Bowl or the Pumpkin Smash on toasted sourdough with poached eggs to name but a few.

A menu of small plates and large plates will be available from lunchtime through until dinner time which will focus on healthy versions of the food you love as well as sushi, curries, ramen and poke.

If you want to get a little more specific, the small plates include the likes of Pulled Ras El Hanout Lamb, Indian Spiced Hummus with Sea Salt Baked Mixed Beets and Salmon Passionfruit Sashimi.

As for the larger plates, expect such delights as Cauliflower Shawarma, Steak & Jerusalem Artichoke “Chips” and Pulled Hickory Jackfruit Chilli. Vegan ‘nourish bowls’ are also available (poke, ramen, salad and kitchari) which have optional protein toppings such as silken tofu, chicken thigh or raw salmon.

Meanwhile, the vibrant bar will boast an extensive wine and drinks list which boasts biodynamic and sustainable wines and beers, fresh and natural cocktails, juices and homemade kombucha.

What’s more, FoodWell has developed their own APP, enabling the user to easily book a table, a wellness session or yoga class and click and collect from the Deli.

Whilst doing this, customers will collect loyalty points that they can redeem on-site as well as being able to benefit from FoodWell’s partnerships with high-end service providers.

Food Well opens its doors at The New Baily on Thursday 28th February. Pop down to get your fill of some of this deliciously mindful food as well as one of their sumptuous superfood cocktails, natural wines or fresh juices after a yoga class or two.

Go on – being kind to yourself never felt so good.
