La Bandera Presents: The Paella Masterclass

Here’s a challenge; you find me one person on this earth who doesn’t go weak at the knees for a delicious plate of paella. Seriously, there is no such thing is there?

Just in case you haven’t had it before, Paella is a traditional Spanish meal made with rice and a selection of vegetables, fish and meat. It is one of those beautiful humble peasant dishes which was originally made to feed farm workers after a hard day of labour.

Paella can be cooked in huge batches all at once- and that is one of my favourite things about it- Paella is designed to be shared. It is a social food for family and friends to enjoy together, which is what I think eating should always be about.

There are some fantastic Paellas dotted around the various Spanish restaurants here in Manchester, but my favourite hands down has to be from La Bandera. That being said, you can imagine my excitement when I caught wind that they were offering a masterclass to teach the secrets of what makes theirs so delicious.

Join La Bandera on the 2nd August at Instituto Cervantes on Deansgate for a one of a kind Paella Masterclass. You will learn how to make their famous Sabrosa Paella from scratch, learn some Spanish and taste some of our fantastic wines along the way.

You will kick things off with a glass of wine on arrival which will be followed by the class which will teach you all the tricks and techniques to making the perfect Paella.

This event is perfect for friends, couples, groups or even as a networking activity. Or, just come down on your own, learn a new skill and perhaps meet some people along the way.

Tickets cost £24.95 which are available to buy using the ticket button below.
