The lunch menu that changes daily depending on what’s fresh at the market…

The ever-changing Menu Rapide at Randall & Aubin - 2 Courses for £12.50

There’s nothing worse than having to run out at lunch time, grab a soggy Prawn butty, some Quavers and a tin of Tizer, head back and eat it at your desk while catching up on your emails.

Worst lunch ever.

That’s why the city is awash with venues offering excellent lunch deals, starting from around a fiver right up to an extravagant £35 where you get endless champagne and end up getting sacked because you fall asleep at your desk once you’re back.

Well right there in the middle is the fantastic NEW Menu Rapide from Randall & Aubin, where for just £12.50 you can get yourself two fantastic dishes – with the options changing daily. Here’s what they have on offer…

Monday
Duck Ragu with herb tagliatelle

Tuesday
Lancashire Hot Pot with braised red cabbage

Wednesday
Garlic & Parsley Chicken with fries & rocket

Thursday
Beef & Mushroom Stroganoff with pilau rice

Friday
Forest Salmon with wild mushrooms, spinach cream & parmesan

Alternatively, each day they offer their Daily Market Fresh Fish, a dish that changes every day depending on what’s fresh down at the fish market that day.

Head Chef Rory Lumsden will ring up their fish suppliers early each morning to see what the catch of the day is. From this he creates a new dish with it – keeping things seasonal, fresh and above all – exciting.

No two days are the same, and with an ever-changing Tart of the Day for dessert too – you can have something completely new every single day.

So, every day can be different – and with the offer available from 12pm – 7pm – you can stick around for as long as you want drinking gin and Champagne. Just don’t let your boss find out!
