Situated just off Stevenson Square, expect European beers, reinvented classic cocktails and dancing until the early hours.

The Berlin bar scene is filled with derelict buildings that have been transformed into the latest clandestine hot spot, and Honey Trap Club will be no different. There will be no bells and whistles, and no dress code, making it the perfect venue for an impromptu night out, a little slice of Berlin on the back streets of Manchester.

The venue will be rough around the edges, with the main focus being the party itself. Paying homage to the famous Berlin club scene with reclaimed furniture, graffiti in the bathrooms, with exposed brick and LED lights.

The team will be looking to revive classic cocktail gems, re-imagined retro classics with no fluffy garnishes. Think Vesper Martinis, and Between the Sheets. The well-trained bar team will be breathing life back into long-life classics with a bit of HTC magic.

Honey Trap Club is set to be the perfect hideout to wind-down with a chilled drink and a spot of table football, but as the weekend arrives the tempo will rise with some of Manchester’s top hip-hop DJs gracing the decks until the early hours.

Kevin Connor of The Pen & Pencil said “The team have spent a lot of time in Berlin and love the bar scene there, so we have created Honey Trap Club with it in mind. We wanted to create something that had a different feel to the rest of the venues in the Northern Quarter to continue the growth of Manchester’s nightlife scene”.

Honey Trap Club will be open fours days a week from 4pm Wednesday to Saturday.

The bar will open until 12pm on a Wednesday, 1am on a Thursday, and 3am on a Friday and Saturday.
