Coffee and brunch purveyors Pot Kettle Black are expanding this autumn, opening their third site at the brand new and highly anticipated Moda Angel Gardens development.
Pot Kettle Black Angel Gardens will serve its renowned artisan coffee and all-day brunch menu with the addition of laidback dinner dishes alongside a carefully crafted cocktail and drinks menu.
Pot Kettle Black has become a much-loved independent in the city since opening its first site back in 2014. After opening a second Spinningfields site in 2018 its owners – rugby league stars Mark Flanagan and Jon Wilkin – have had their sights set on opening a site in the north of the city.
Owner Mark Flanagan commented: “We have long held aspirations to open another site in the city. With Noma bordering home of the independents, the Northern Quarter, and food and drink hot spot of the moment, Ancoats, Moda Angel Gardens has become the most sought-after new address in the city.
“With their best in class facilities, community focus and passion for health and wellbeing we knew Moda Angel Gardens was the perfect spot for Pot Kettle Black.”
Moda Angel Gardens recently revealed its plans for next generation living for city renters with a focus on community living and an impressive array of communal spaces open to residents and the city including a rooftop BBQ terrace, sports pitch, library, residents lounge, private dining room, gym and cinema room as well as an on-site flexible workspace and bookable meeting rooms.
In addition, an extensive events programme – from rooftop yoga to BBQs – will create the opportunity to mix and mingle bringing together like-minded individuals from across the city and creating an exciting new neighbourhood in Manchester.
In keeping with the community feel of Moda Angel Gardens, the new Pot Kettle Black venue will host weekly events and get togethers. From book clubs to brunches, the third Pot Kettle Black site aspires to be a spot in the city where individuals come together to meet, connect and enjoy each other’s company.
Pot Kettle Black – Angel Gardens, will open in Autumn 2019.
