After an initial testing phase, critically acclaimed chef Michael O’Hare has now taken the reigns of the restaurant and the new Asian inspired tasting menu is much stronger, bolder and refined.

With bookings being taken now, for lunch and dinner, the menu encapsulates intense flavours which come through in each serving.

Set dishes include Langoustine Toast, Soy and Ginger Glazed Pork Cheek, Unagi Bao, Native Lobster with thai flavours and Fillet of Beef with Salt and Pepper Prawn. Sweet servings include White Chocolate Passionfruit and Peppercorn Éclair.

The wine list is an interesting mix of popular bins, as well as a number of unusual bottles from England, China and Japan, which pair flawlessly with the tasting menu.

Housed in the iconic Urbis building, the interior of the energetic restaurant has upped its game, moving up a notch – without losing the unique and distinctive identity it launched with – to reveal enhanced elegant and sophisticated elements which combine to create a highly intimate dining space.

Having taking learnings from the six months post launch, as well as his one Michelin star restaurant The Man Behind the Curtain in Leeds, Michael will lead the team in the kitchen on his mission to push the boundaries of fine dining in the north west.

Open Wednesday through to Saturday for lunch and dinner, make sure to remember that booking is required. Tickets are available from Therabbitinthemoon.tocktix.com
