The Bay Horse Tavern is a modern take on a Victorian Pub, positioned on Thomas Street right in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter. It is a laid-back spot with charm and personality to spare, a home away from home to relax in warm and comfortable surroundings with a vast range of gins, craft beers and other libations.

We adore The Bay Horse Tavern for their sophisticated take on British classics. They have just moved over from their cosy winter menu to something a little bit lighter to match the beautiful weather. You can expect some delicious summer salads and small plates that are bursting with fruit, vegetables, gooey cheeses, and all the pimped-up pub grub classics we know and love.

There are tonnes of new dishes, but I have handpicked a few of my favourites…

Tomato Carpaccio, Raspberries & Burrata (£6.50)

Mozzarella, Rocket, Peach & Parma Ham (£8)

Prawn, Chilli, Pink Grapefruit & Rocket Salad (£9.50)

8oz Rib Eye, Mushroom, Tomato, Thrice-Cooked Chips, Garlic Butter (£16.50)

Chicken and Roasted Garlic with either Mash or Thrice-Cooked Chips, Gravy (£10)

Chicken, lettuce, Tomato with Mustard Mayo on a White Bloomer (£9.50)

The summer menu is available now Monday-Saturday from 9 am.
