Full Stuffed Lamb
Zouk
That’s right, we ate a full lamb this week at Zouk and it’s was spectacular in SO many ways. We want another one. – Manchester’s Finest

Chilean Swizzle
Dakota Hotel Bar
It was Tuesday and after a long, arduous Bank Holiday weekend I was looking forward to a bit of R&R and to only drinking clear, ice cold water for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, I was dragged along to Dakota Hotel for a cocktail shoot with Rikki Chan but as soon as I arrived and started chatting to the great fellas behind the bar – I was instantly uplifted. My mood improved considerably as soon as I started tasting their creations from their new menu. My favourite was the Pisco based Chilean Swizzle – which was very refreshing and had a proper kick to it! – Ben Brown

Queso Fundido
El Camino
I managed to uncover what is quite possibly the cheesiest side dish in the whole of Manchester on Wednesday – the Queso Fundido at El Camino in The Cotton Factory. I don’t think these guys are here for much longer (The Cotton Factory is a space with a constantly changing list of operators inside) so get on down as soon as you can and tuck into this cheese sauce. It’s basically Mexican Fondue and it’s very naughty indeed! – Rikki Chan

Boardwalk Gluten Free Beer
Beatnikz Republic NQ
I’m not usually a beer drinker, primarily because it makes me bloated and so when I get drink enough to do the worm I feel 10x worse. This new-ish beer from Beatnikz though is Gluten Free so it doesn’t make you bloated and is actually surprisingly tasty too. I guzzled the can really, really fast and wormed my way out of there without a care in the world. – Alex Watson

Lamb + Cheese Pide
KAI
Heading down to KAI on Deansgate is always a culinary pleasure and this week was no exception. Out of the vast selection of dishes that I shoved into my gob, the Pide was one of the highlights. It’s basically a Turkish pizza, stuffed with a variety of toppings, cheese added on top and then the crusts folded over. In this case I had Lamb in there – as if I hadn’t had enough lamb this week already! – Jake Hardy

Bottomless Brunch (Mushrooms on Toast)
The Bay Horse Tavern
It was the Sunday of Pride. The weather outside was phenomenal. I was dressed in what can only be described as a ‘stupid outfit’ and so there was no better way to start the day than head on down to The Bay Horse Tavern with a lovely lady and scoff my face and drink bottomless Prosecco. I opted for the Mushrooms on Toast, which is always a massive favourite of mine and never disappoints. I also ended up eating half of the Full English – which is banging. – Ben Brown
