In the film ‘The Hustler’ Paul Newman played a bloke called Fast Eddie – a fella who wanted to get into the big time pool playing leagues, make some serious money and get the girl.

In the way though are a bunch of small time blokes with dodgy haircuts, shite cues and some moderately expensive fees – making for a rather exciting and pretty impressive film altogether.

If Fast Eddie had known about FREE POOL Wednesdays at Black Dog though, it would have saved him a whole heap of trouble – where he could practice his skills, chill with his mates and generally look cool – all without paying a penny.

Available ALL DAY every Wednesday, all you need to do is buy a drink (or round) and you can get yourself a FREE game of pool. Just ask whoever is behind the bar to sort you out. Easy peasy.

Paul Newman also had a habit of washing his face in ice cold water every single day, and considering he looked about 40 when he died at the age of 83 – it might be a good idea to start doing that too.
