I must admit to never actually ever having a dessert in The Bay Horse Tavern – I just never really have enough space after eating one of their pies and too many Thrice Cooked Chips.

No, actually I did once have a bit of a dessert there. It was a bowl of custard and ice cream and it was brilliant. That’s not on the menu though – but this beauty is…

The Sticky Toffee Pudding at The Bay Horse Tavern is a thing of dreams. Everyone knows that you can’t really have a proper meal in a proper pub without a Sticky Toffee Pudding and in this case – nothing is different.

Served warm, with a huge ladle of sticky toffee sauce poured over, this beaut is then finished with a generous dollop of vanilla ice cream – that subsequently starts to melt the second it hits the pudding.

As the ice cream cascades down the side of the soft, fluffy pudding, it’s nigh on impossible not to get your spoon in there and wolf the bugger down.

Perfect for these long winter nights – head on down to The Bay Horse as soon as you can and get involved. You won’t regret it.
