What: The new Cathedral cafe bar has recently opened serving hot drinks, snacks, sandwiches and classic meals all in a relaxed and modern atmosphere. The cafe is open Monday-Saturday, 9.30am-4.00pm. The entrance is directly opposite the main entrance to the cathedral.

Enjoy refreshments and experience the only restaurant in the world with an indoor mediaeval bridge! There is also a shop, an exhibition and toilet facilities.

The remains of the bridge that can been seen in the restaurant date from the medieval periods, through there are clues that the visible bridge is the one to cross the ditch.
