London based Byron Hamburgers is coming to Manchester! I’ll just start by saying I love Byron, it’s a favourite haunt of mine when I’m down in the Big Smoke.

Manchester has had a real influx of burger joints recently, between SoLita, Almost Famous, All Start lanes and Gorilla you’re pretty spoilt for bloody good burger choice, that said I’m really looking forward to Byron Manchester.

If you’re not familiar with Byron the story goes as follows, and there’s a little vid aswell:

In London in 2007, it struck owner Tom Byng there weren’t any restaurants offering hamburgers like those at the Silver Top. So the idea for Byron was born: to do a simple thing well, and do it properly.

They source good beef from Scotland and mince it fresh every day. They cook it medium so it’s pink, juicy and succulent. They place it in a soft, squishy bun with minimum fuss and fanfare. They serve it with a smile in a comfortable environment. And that’s it.

Byron have a few restaurants now but their vision remains the same. To keep serving proper hamburgers the way they should be. And it’s basically as simple as that.

I’m really looking forward to checking it out.
