Living Ventures and Manchester House Restaurant & Lounge are celebrating once again today just one week after receiving 3 AA Rosettes.
The city-centre restaurant and lounge bar which has been open for one year, scooped a trio of honours at this year’s Manchester Food and Drink Festival Awards which took place in the beautiful setting of the city’s Town Hall last night.
Surrounded by the cream of Manchester’s vibrant food and drink scene, Manchester House was awarded the accolade of Best Restaurant, Best Bar and Best Newcomer at the prestigious event – the first time in the 17-year history of the Manchester Food and Drink Festival that one venue has received three awards.
However, they were not the only awards going to Living Ventures, as CEO and co-founder, Tim Bacon, was also recognised with the Outstanding Achievement award, presented to him by the inimitable Noddy Holder! Tim, who has provided much inspiration to the city’s bar and dining scene over the last 20 years collected the award to a standing ovation from the audience.
Both Aiden and Tim paid tribute to their respective teams and acknowledged the calibre of all the venues nominated in every category.
