Never fear, because there are more than enough ample ways to enjoy one without breaking the bank. Almost Famous, Reds True BBQ and Solita alike are great, but as a now and again treat. With the offers listed below, you could practically eat out every night!

Odd Bar
50% off mains on a Thursday, with all meat from The Butcher’s Quarter on Tib Street meaning it’s all locally sourced and delicious. Their menu informs you the beef is reared from the Peak District and pork from a source in Rossendale. You can treat yourself to the Odd Burger for as little as £4.75, which bares little argument.

Dog Bowl
Throughout the week, a lunch and bowl will cost you a tiny £5 between 12-4pm and £10 on a Saturday. On a Sunday, I opted for the Lane Closer (two beef patties, pulled pork, tater tots and mini cheeseburger on top) to share with sides, which was a wonder to behold.

West CNR
West isn’t exactly budget burgers, but their happy hour after 3pm means you can enjoy a pitcher of beer with any main meal. Their Breakfast Club Sandwich for a Saturday morning are absolutely to die for and stacked to the heavens. Similar to Odd Bar, all of their meat is supplied from The Butcher’s Quarter, which is sourced from no further than a 20 mile radius. Couple that with bread from local bakery Lovingly Artisan, you’ll be more than satisfied for what you pay for.

Black Dog Ballroom
The burger at Black Dog is truly a wonderful creation – both meaty, juicy and moorish all in one. You can enjoy this beauty for the small price of only £5 at lunch time during the week as part of their fantastic lunch deal. Not only this but there is also 50% off all food on Monday’s – so you can choose any one of their excellent creations for as little as £3!

Byron
It’s Byron’s 10th birthday, and they’re offering unlimited fries, whatever the special burger of the week is and a special birthday craft beer all for £13. I tried the blue cheese burger, and took a takeaway box full of fries after going four rounds (and stealing the waiters heart). Offer ends 25th September so get down immediately.

Every student and rapper’s favourite Manchester burger joint, Archie’s have been smashing it on Oxford Road for a few years now and it’s mainly because of their brilliant shakes and fantastic burgers.
