Thursdays weekly
The Kennel Club with Luke Unabomber and Electriks stalwart, Christoff, continues with their fantastic blend of funk, soul and disco, already a huge hit at the New York speakeasy style bar.
The Kennel Club features a selection of exciting special guests all carefully selected by Luke and Christoff. The night is weekly on Thursdays from 10.30pm to 4am and it’s totally free!
Elliot Eastwick’s World Famous Weekly Quiz – Thursdays weekly
Once a week the Ballroom plays host to Eliot Eastwick’s World Famous Pub Quiz. Manchester’s musical answer to Magnus Magnusson is renowned for his quirky quiz mastery, music and film based questions and pound shop prizes.

Salad Days promotion
SUMMER is here and the Black Dog Ballroom is celebrating with a gorgeous new menu packed full of tasty and refreshing salads perfect for lunch on a hot day.
There are four new additions to the menu and at £5.95 they will be just right for a healthy lunch with the girls (or boys).
-Crisp fried halloumi with couscous and pomegranate salad
-Feta cheese salad with olives, sunblush tomatoes, cucumber and mixed leaves
-Tuna Nicoise with French beans, mixed leaves, mixed olives, cherry tomatoes, red onion and a soft boiled egg
-Proscuitto, peach and buffalo mozzarella salad with rocket and mixed leaves
To celebrate the coming of summer anyone who buys ones of these new dishes or any of the other salads or sandwiches on the menu will get another salad for just £1.
Foosball UK Foosball tournament – Monday 18th July
If you fancy your chances as a table football expert, come on down on Monday 18th July to enter the Northern Quarter’s very first Foosball tournament. The free event is organised by Foosball UK, so expect to be wowed with trick shots and top tips as well as competing against the cream of Manchester’s table football enthusiasts.
