This weekend it’s the Great British Food Festival at Arley Hall and Gardens, near Knutsford.

The recipe for the weekend consists of over 70 top British food producers, a big serving of hot food and an array of real ale and bars. Add a dash of craft and gift stalls, lots of activities and rides for the kids and free top chef demos. The main chef demo area hosts top local talent alongside the like of Luis Troyano from the Great British Bake Off and Luke Owen from Masterchef, Luis said ‘Its a fantastic event and I love doing the demos, I also help out judging the cake off, so get to try lots of tasty cakes, which is great fun!’

Once you’ve taken in a chef demo or two why not grab a drink or some tasty hot food and sit down to listen to some great live music. Top local bands will be performing throughout the weekend, so if food or music – or both are your sort of thing, head down to the Great British Food Festival this weekend. The perfect recipe for a fun, foodie day out for the whole family.
