Test Card is an event series showcasing and exploring creative audio visual performance, interactive storytelling and digital creative culture
All events are held regularly and hosted in the Northern Quarter venue T exture, a hidden gem of the Manchester scene renowned across the North West for it’s state of the art projection system.
Test Card Showcase Events
Spearheaded by the T est Card Showcase every last Friday of the month, the showcase events give an open platform for artists, filmmakers and VJ’s to showcase new work. Other events include the popular Bring Your Own Beamer, a DIY exhibition event where artist of any style are welcome to pop along with personal projectors, plug in and project anywhere in the venue.
Test Card Talk Programme
The talk programme invites both local and internationally leading artists, filmmakers, VJ’s and digital creatives to share the journey of their careers and give sneak peeks of new work, with concluding Q&A’s which allow the audience to engage directly with leaders in creative fields. Upcoming events include the artist R obert Henke, C hristopher Allan of London Studio T he Light Surgeons and local Manchester resident Emmanuel Biard.
Test Card Workshop Programme
This innovative programme works to develop participants creative and technical skills while exploring new software, technologies and techniques through the mediums of projection mapping, live performance sound, coding, filmmaking, and VJ’ing.

Test Card x AV Silk Road Launch Party

A collaborative project between Test Card, Birmingham based Chromatouch and VJ London to create a network though out the UK for AV artists. As part of this project we have invited the amazingly talented L’Aubaine up from VJ London to showcase her live cinema performance Morocco.
