Dan Healey, Manchester entrepreneur and owner of bespoke luxury furniture and interiors business Den, is preparing to celebrate a decade of the firm’s success.

Dan, who has created interiors for a host of familiar names and places, including the homes of Man United players and Mahmud & Nurez Kamani (the brothers behind the Boohoo fashion empire,) along with leading bars and restaurants Chaophraya, Rosso, Solita, Home Sweet Home, Intro and Johnny the Baba (to name a few) will toast Den’s tenth birthday and continued expansion this week with the launch of his latest commission – Den at Almost Famous .

Dan’s team of designers and skilled craftsmen have created a high end, bespoke interior for the first floor which includes luxury booth seating, zinc tables, individual chairs and signature print and leather sofas which fit perfectly with the maverick, arty style of the über popular burger joint in the Great Northern Warehouse.

Den at Almost Famous isn’t the only success Dan is planning to toast, later this year (September) Dan, who is currently appearing as an expert buyer in *Channel 4’s upcycling show, The French Collection, will host the party of the year at his newly refurbished five storey mill in Bury. Two years ago, as the business continued to grow, sky high rents in the city forced Dan to look further afield, he went on to buy New Victoria Mills in Bury and set about making his vision for Den a reality.

Now, the vast former cotton and textile mill is home to Den’s team of designers and master craftsmen. All orders for both private homes and commercial venues are designed and custom built from scratch at the mill. A host of movers and shakers and well-known faces from across the region, including past and present clients of Den are expected to attend September’s glittering bash, which will also see the launch of Den’s new super showroom. An entire floor of the mill will feature several individual room layouts, bringing Den’s inimitable style to life in room settings, which will be open to the public.

Commenting on the announcement, Dan said:
“Den has come certainly come a long way in the last ten years; it’s time we finally allowed ourselves to celebrate and I believe we’ll be doing it in style come September! On a serious note, for me, our survival and indeed success is down to two things – providing affordable luxury. Prices for bespoke furniture can be crazy out there, we keep it sensible. Secondly the client comes first, whether your commission is private or commercial – for one chair or a whole house, we strive to offer the best individual service and care at all times. I’m also kind of proud that everything we do is handcrafted with love, right here in Greater Manchester.”
