Learning a language is a proper bucket list item for many people, and with a new year on the horizon, there’s surely no better time to get started than now. If Spanish is your choice then we’re lucky to have the Instituto Cervantes here in Manchester, they have 11,000 enrolments a year in over 70 cities and 40 countries all over the world so you know you’re in good hands. Whether you want to be able to order a drink, make new friends or start the road to full fluency they have courses at every level, and the next term kicks off in the week commencing 9th January 2017.

It’s not just about learning the lingo either, there are regular social events throughout the year that are open to all, so you can really enjoy getting under the skin of Spanish culture too. Courses are generally divided up in to 30 hour blocks of lessons that you can take at your own pace depending on your schedule. And why not get a friend or loved one involved as well? A Spanish course would make a great Christmas gift!

The Instituto Cervantes of Manchester is located at the end of Deansgate near to the Museum of Science and Technology, a couple of minutes walk from Deansgate Castefield tram stop.
