Spinningfields launches Photography Competition to find image that captures Winter Wonderland.

Spinningfields has launched a competition for budding photographers, open to all ages and levels of experience, with the city centre estate looking for an image which captures the spirit of its Winter Wonderland in Hardman Square.

Ice-Rink-2012

With an ice rink which can accommodate up to 200 skaters, a vintage helter skelter and the Festive Village, there are plenty of vantage points to consider in terms of the best shot. The competition is open to all, with the winner and runner-up selected by the judges, Manchester Confidential Features Editor Jonathan Schofield and Holly Nicol, Commercial Executive at Spinningfields.

“…we’re hoping that the competition will help us find some images that really capture the festive spirit on the estate…”

The final date to submit any imagery is January 6th, with the winner announced on Wednesday, 9th January. The winner will receive a meal for two at new Spinningfields restaurant Neighbourhood and cocktails from The Ski Club. The runner-up will win afternoon tea for two at Hey Little Cupcake!
Holly Nicol said; “There’s a lot going on in Hardman Square this winter and we’re hoping that the competition will help us find some images that really capture the festive spirit on the estate. We’re looking forward to seeing what people can come up with!”

To enter, send your picture, which must be at least 1Mb in size, along with your name, address and telephone number to feedback@spinningfields.co.uk

By entering the competition, entrants agree to allow Spinningfields use of their image in any marketing material to promote the area.
