As you’re probably already aware, Twisted Wheel are one Manchester band that have been chalking up critical acclaim over recent years, developing a significant fan base in the process, resulting in packed venues across the country. As such their return to home turf this weekend would reason enough to comment in itself.

But A Declaration 2, which takes over Sound Control on Saturday 10th August, boasts more reasons to attend than just those fast-rising, hotly tipped, guitar playing, indie rockers. So that would be Danny Mahon, The Last Party, The Minx, Deadbeat Echoes, The Wax Collection, In Pixels, The Delaplains, Go Native, Cavan Moran, and White Eskimo.

If those names mean nothing then we advice clicking here for full details on the aforementioned artists, who between them should offer a musical platter to suit any educated aural palette. We’re definitely booking in time to attend, so- considering the promise of grilled meat to sustain us from 1PM to 11PM- hopefully we’ll see you at some point between the first and ninth burger.
