Your cold December nights are about to get hotter with Wilderness’ Bank Takeovers. Everyone’s favourite record store has curated a line-up of their favourite local musicians to deliver to you through the festive period.

The team have taken over the old Natwest bank in Withington – an amazing building that is sure to look even better stripped back, with a stage and a raised DJ space. And the performing artists are promised to be just as special as the formerly abandoned space.

The aim of the project is to bring the local community together and support local artists, businesses and services. The project is in collaboration the local community groups, We Are Withington and Withington Walls.

Kickstarting today, the event is a part of Withington By Night, so the events will be accompanied by many other local groups and stalls – as well as the programmed music.

The entry is free, however, in the community spirit, a suggested donation to Withington Walls of £2 will definitely be appreciated. A percentage of any bar profits will also be sent towards Withington Walls as well.
