Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub) and Euros Childs reveal they have been working on an album of co-written songs under the name Jonny. A release is set for early 2011 on Alsatian Records (Turnstile).

Over the past couple of years the two songwriters have convened when time and schedules have allowed to play the odd show and produce an impressive cache of new songs that contain all the warmth, wit and melodic magic that you would expect from such a pairing.

The first of this will be made available as a free EP, titled “Free EP”, on 10th November. That’s right, four fantastic free songs. Did we mention they are FREE? The EP comprises of 3 new songs and a cover of 60’s band Turnoff’s “Michael Angelo”.
